I have had to disable any user's ability to create polls (except moderators) in any forum. This was due to a couple of new users creating like mad and it taking me ages to sort them out.

If you'd like to post a poll, please reply to this thread or PM a mod/admin and we'll do it for you if we think it would be useful.

Apologies for those forum-etiquette abiding members - the few ruin for the many as usual Crying or Very sad

Aren't you creating as much work by having to create peoples polls for them?

Seems a shame to get rid of all these functions because of a few members.

Not really - the idea is to save work on the moderation side or there'd be no point. I think we've seen one or two user polls that added anything to the forum since we moved.

Not trying to be dictatorial in any way - just to keep the workload down - gauling to spend an hour deleting polls which could be much better spent.
