| I know u have probly heard this a 1000 times but bear with me please. Ive just ordered a Nutrafin essential mini master test kit of ebay could someone please advise me if this kit is ok for the job. Thankyou Murphyboy.......

All the major manufacturer kits are OK but don't expect very accurate results - they are fine for a general indication of ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph which you will need regularly during cycling. _________________ Fishkeeping since 1975 @ six years old. Experience with Community Tanks, Breeding, Dwarf Cichlids, Angels, Puffers, Corydoras and L Number Plecos.

I too use the Hagen master kit but the one you have will suffice for most purposes.
It is helpful to know how hard water is but maybe a local fish shop can tell you that? _________________ Sue
First bred tetras in the 1960's, Discus 1970's, more recently bred cichlids, L no. plecs, catfish, characins & cyprinids. Community, biotope & breeding tanks. Trying to keep on top of new developments in products & techniques.
